About Treatment Business Review

A reference publication helping buyers and operators structure evidence requests, understand service operations and plan care continuity during organizational change.

Treatment Business Review is an educational publication for people examining behavioral-health organizations. Its focus is the practical evidence behind service descriptions and the work required to preserve clear responsibilities during a change in ownership or operations.

The questions we examine

What does the organization provide, to whom and in which settings? Who delivers the service? What documents explain the role of each team? Which contracts, permissions and operating routines need professional review? What happens to a person receiving care when a contact, system or responsible leader changes?

SBA's existing-business guidance provides a general business-review reference. SAMHSA's quality-treatment checklist supplies questions about the care being offered. We adapt those sources to original document-request and operating-workflow tools rather than treating a general checklist as a complete behavioral-health review.

Useful material, clear boundaries

Each guide should leave readers with a better question, a structured request list or an evidence log they can take to the responsible reviewer. The publication does not certify an organization's quality or resolve a transaction's legal, accounting or clinical questions. It helps people prepare those conversations and retain the basis of the answers.

Examples of organizations or transactions will be identified as fictional unless a real account is documented and authorized. Current availability, credentials and business descriptions must be verified with their owning sources before being published. This publication contains no sale listings or representations about a business's value.
